Telecommunication networks continue Year after year in coverage areas and technologies because of the growing needs and requirements of users. The purpose of this paper was to compare the Quality of service (QoS) between the 3G network (UMTS) and 4G networks (WiMAX). In UMTS model many users are placed in the network that requests some applications and network traffic is measured and calculated. Regarding the WiMAX model scenario, where several users perform different services, enabling the analysis of network performance by measuring several parameters.

In adaptive control and system identification the self-accuracy regulator has wide range of application Neural network and artificial intelligence are playing big role in this area This paper presents adaptive neural network control based on Self Tuning Regulator (STR) scheme. An On-line identification of process parameters is the key element in adaptive control, the basic idea of online identification is to compare the output of estimated system with the output of model during some time, and the model is describable as a parameter vector. The aim is to adjust parameter until the model output is similar to the observed system output. This paper presents neural network block for online system identification and discrete PID block controller. Modified Zeigler –Nichole method for designing PID controller has been presented and simulated using MATLAB. Analysis of the whole scheme is presented and simulated for different systems. Adequate desired performance is obtained by comparison with the nominal methods for using self-tuning regulator.

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a special case of multicarrier transmitted, where a single data stream is transmitted over a number of lower rate subcarrier. One of the main issues of OFDM is high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signal which adversely affects the complexity of power amplifiers, In this paper we will discuss techniques used to reduce PAPR selective mapping (SLM), clipping, partial transmit sequence (PTS), techniques are implemented for PAPR reduction of OFDM signal at transmitter. Comparison of these PAPR reduction techniques is done based on CCDF and BER performance of the system.

Cognitive radio networks (CRN) are smart networks that automatically sense the channel and adjust the network parameters accordingly. Cognitive radio is emerging technologies that enable the dynamic deployments of highly adaptive radios that are built upon Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology. The radio technology allows the unlicensed operation to be in the licensed band. The cognitive radio network paradigm raises many technical challenges such as the power efficiency, spectrum management, and environmental awareness. The aim of this paper is study, analyze, adaptive cognitive radio network using MATLAB software. The parameters which were taken into consideration of the adaptation were the type of digital modulation, signal to noise ratio and AWGN. The result was obtained in graphical for Bit Error Rate versus signal noise ratio and a modulation signal for primary signal and secondary signal users.

This paper is giving a synopsis of IEEE 802.11ad, that preparing to define another technology multi-Gbps WIGig. Considering the need to get more detailed capacity and broadband of transmitting of data, there’s a need for expectations which looking at with past will allow better bandwidth, opportunities and overall flexibility which will not be limited in size of data that we want to transmit. These opportunities permit 802.11ad standard which is given in this paper by examining its characteristics it has troubles and potential pitfalls that occur during the execution of the standard.

The increasing growth of society and the heavy demand for wireless technologies and telecommunications services called the traditional spectrum framework into question, therefore to achieve the highest benefit of this limited resource a spectrum management process must be implemented in an effective way. The variety of radio spectrum applications such as national security, society safety, mobile communications, broadcasting, business and navigation can be optimally achieved in its highest performance and be protected from interference and also give the way for the future expansion of spectrum use by applying aphoristic spectrum management plan taking into consideration the economic issues. This paper aims to provide a structured way of looking at spectrum management in developing countries. A methodic case study of spectrum management in developing countries (Sudan case) is examined the national policies and procedures to give a sharpened understanding of spectrum regulation process.

The temperature is very important for many applications, scientific and engineering fields and more, so was the greatest concern of scientists and engineers, especially in the field of industry and automation to take their attention and design circuits to measurement temperature and control it after the expansion and progress in the automation and control field. This paper presents the idea of temperature control for any device is controlled according to its requirements for any industrial application. It also displays the temperature on the LCD display in the range -50 ° C to + 120 ° C. So that the LM35 temperature device is connected to the Arduino circuit, this, in turn, converts this reading and displays it on the screen. This is a new design to control fan speed based on temperature by using (PWM) technology, it is small and simple circuit that helps control and automate processes where maximum and maximum temperature can be set up as quickly as possible in the Arduino panel. Then Arduino generates output (PWM) on the corresponding digital output according to the measured temperature. The fan speed matches the measured temperature. A standard power supply of 12volt and 5 volts is provided through the regulator. This system works correctly and design is suitable according to laboratory needs, industrial and modern technology.( PWM) technology is suitable for fan speed according to ambient temperature and the results were satisfactory and practical according to schedule.

Nowadays the utilization of Cloud computing in industry, government and academia are growing substantially, this is due to their ability to deliver resilient, robust, and scalable computational power. In cloud computing data centers, high-speed networks interconnect both virtual and physical computers. The dynamic provisioning of these systems is based on end-user computing resources requirements. However, high efficient resource utilization is yet far to reach, therefore the operational costs of these data centers are considerably high. Currently, systems allocate a maximum number of resources in a manner that attempts to ensure that all the Service Level Agreements (SLA) are satisfied. Virtualizations represents the core technology of cloud computing. By creating multiple Virtual Machine (VMs) instances, it allows Cloud providers to manage its data center resources more efficiently and accordingly improving the utilization of resources. In addition to that, by using live migration the VMs can be dynamically consolidated on the minimal number of physical nodes according to their current resource requirements and maintaining SLAs. Therefore, non-optimized and inefficient VMs consolidation may cause performance degradation when an application encounters variable workloads. Thus, to ensure acceptable Quality of Service (QoS) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) a novel machine learning based technique for dynamic consolidation of VMs based on an adaptive prediction of utilization thresholds is proposed to satisfy the Service Level Agreements (SLA). Workload traces from Planet Lab servers have been utilized to validate the efficiency of the proposed technique with different of workload patterns.
