ABSTRACT

This paper examines WiMAX network assessed the performance for quality of service. OPNET modeller was used to creating a network and computer the quality of service parameters Throughput and Mean Opinion Score (MOS) value, which was texted. In fact, the result found that when mobile node number increased the highest value of MOS was achieved and throughput was increased.

ABSTRACT

The most significant problem that faces the electricity nowadays is the misusage and the wastage of power. Usually the carelessness of the responsible person and the operators, lights had been left on, which appears as misusage of electricity. While the water wastage is another problem, that needs to be dealt with. The project is considered as the main factor to overcome some of these problems by taking automation as a real application.  The project aims to control the flow of water, and electrical machines in a simple facility based on an embedded system, which is a small prototype that can be applied in all factories and plans to save the lost resources. Now, from the hardware side, this project consists of the microcontroller (PIC 16F877A) which represents the brain of this system, the other components are, LEDs, two DC motors, two relays, DS1307 which is a real time clock used for adjusting the date and the time in addition to the buzzer. Finally, for programming and designing the circuit, the software packages MikroC compiler and Proteus 8 professional had been used.  The paper is working properly, by this method Waste of water and electricity has disappeared, so saving water, and electricity has become a reality.

ABSTRACT

Third generation and fourth generation are standards for mobile communication.  Standards specify how the airwaves must be used for transmitting information voice and data.  Third Generation 3G networks were a significant improvement over Second-Generation 2G networks, offering higher speeds for data transfer. The improvement that 4G offers over 3G is often less pronounced. The objective of this paper is to compare  3G and  4G mobile technology using descriptive analysis and previous study.

ABSTRACT

Orthogonal Frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) of the most important techniques used in wireless communication systems since 1970 but not used widely because of the technology that they need to possibilities expensive as there was a difficulty then in use on a large scale., its idea was caused by problems that corresponded to the reference to previous techniques and also the result of increasing the number of users, Data transfer speed reached 54Mbps. The signals used are digital signals like QAM, BPSK, and QPSK so use the digital embedding techniques and in this paper, QPSK was used, it is noticeable in this technique that users are distributed by frequency. One of the major drawbacks of OFDM is the high Peak-to- average-power ratio (PAPR) of the Transmitter’s output signal. There are many different algorithms that have been proposed to solve the high PAPR problem of OFDM system like selective mapping (SLM), partial transmit sequence (PTS), Clipping method is the easiest way to reduce the PAPR of the OFDM   system but it has some limitations.  In this paper, we are using Selective Mapping (SLM) method which provides better and excellent performance for reduction of PAPR.  Selective Mapping is one way of probabilistic techniques where the actual transmit signal is selected from a set of signals to construct the transmitted signal.

ABSTRACT

Power over Ethernet (PoE) is an innovation for wired Ethernet LANs (Local Area Networks) that permits the electrical current fundamental for the operation for every device to be conveyed by the information links as opposed to by power lines. Doing as such limits the quantity of wires that must be hung with a specific end goal to introduce the system. The outcome is lower taken a toll, less downtime, simpler support, and more prominent establishment adaptability than with customary wiring, For PoE to work, the electrical current must go into the information link at the power supply end, and turned out at the device end, such that the current is kept separate from the data signal so that neither meddles with the other.

ABSTRACT

Application for control of the liquid level by using indirect method for sensing the level and using the microcontroller to operate the pumps, this method is effective, cheap and easy to apply. Using the materials and components are available for designing and building a level measurement system to ultimately give a single-ended voltage output with a value and span from 0 volts to +5 volts and use it to control the level. This paper addresses the design, construction, and the development of the control system components for Control Liquid level through Pressure measurement using a microcontroller.

ABSTRACT

The temperature is very important for many applications, scientific and engineering fields and more, so was the greatest concern of scientists and engineers, especially in the field of industry and automation to take their attention and design circuits to measurement temperature and control it after the expansion and progress in the automation and control field. This paper presents the idea of temperature control for any device is controlled according to its requirements for any industrial application. It also displays the temperature on the LCD display in the range -50 ° C to + 120 ° C. So that the LM35 temperature device is connected to the Arduino circuit, this, in turn, converts this reading and displays it on the screen. This is a new design to control fan speed based on temperature by using (PWM) technology, it is small and simple circuit that helps control and automate processes where maximum and maximum temperature can be set up as quickly as possible in the Arduino panel. Then Arduino generates output (PWM) on the corresponding digital output according to the measured temperature. The fan speed matches the measured temperature. A standard power supply of 12volt and 5 volts is provided through the regulator. This system works correctly and design is suitable according to laboratory needs, industrial and modern technology.( PWM) technology is suitable for fan speed according to ambient temperature and the results were satisfactory and practical according to schedule.
